§ 8-2-4 Non-residential Usage of STRs Prohibited; Penalties.
(A) No STR may be used for a non-residential use including but not limited to any of the following uses:
(1) A nonresidential use in a residential zoning district (other than a home occupation or other nonresidential use authorized by the City Code);
(2) Operating a retail business, restaurant, event center, banquet center, or similar use; or
(3) Housing sex offenders;
(4) Operating or maintaining a sober living home;
(5) Selling liquor, marijuana, illegal drugs, or pornography; or
(6) Operating any adult-oriented business including nude or topless dancing.
(B) A violation of this Section 8-2-4 is a criminal class 1 misdemeanor offense; and, the City Prosecutor is authorized to file a criminal complaint in the City of Goodyear Municipal Court for violations of this Section 8-2-4. (Ord. 22-1555, passed 9-12-2022)
