Any water main extension that has been conveyed to the City free and clear of any and all encumbrances and has passed inspection by the City Engineer for compliance with AWWA standards and the City’s Design Guidelines may be submitted for the City’s approval. The City, if satisfied that the extension is in the public interest and suitable and compatible with the existing system may accept and approve the extension and authorize the use thereof.
