(A) The customer shall have complete responsibility for the installation, inspection and maintenance of the water lines and all associated attachments used to convey and distribute water to the customer beyond the point of the water meter service connection on the outlet side of the water meter. The City shall not in any way be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection or damage of water facilities or damage caused by any defect in the customer’s water meter or associated water loss.

(B) When no water meter has been installed, the service connection point is the outlet side of the inline water valve from the public potable water system at its point of delivery to the customer’s water facility. Non-metered lines are only available for fire lines, unless otherwise provided by City Code and/or Engineering Design Standards.
