The purpose of this article is to regulate the construction and installation of fireplaces, woodstoves or other solid-fuel burning devices to reduce the amount of air pollution caused by particulate matter and carbon monoxide. (Prior Code, § 9-2-1) (Ord. 98-619, passed 8-24-1998)
