(A) The owner of the STR shall maintain liability insurance appropriate to cover the STR in the aggregate of at least $500,000 or the owner of the STR may advertise and offer the STR through an online lodging marketplace that provides equal or greater liability insurance coverage.

(B) A violation of this Section 8-2-7 is a civil offense subject to the appropriate fine for a verified violation pursuant to Section 8-2-9(A) and (B). (Ord. 22-1555, passed 9-12-2022)
