(A) Upon receipt of the completed application and any fee(s) required by this article, the Chief of Police shall issue the permit unless denied for any of the following reasons:

(1) Required application fees have not been paid;

(2) Incomplete, false, inaccurate or unverifiable information is provided on the application;

(3) Misrepresentation of nature of the business, any business or related activity or ownership;

(4) As otherwise provided in the guideline.

(B) No permits will be issued for any activity that would result in a violation of any law, code, rule or regulation. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant/permittee to ensure that the applicant/permittee are acting in compliance with the law and has obtained all required permits, licenses and approvals. The issuance of a permit shall not be deemed to validate the conduct of the permittee.

(C) Application fees shall be set by resolution of City Council.
