§ 3-1-8 Vacancies; Deputies; Holding more than one office.

(A) A vacancy in any office not subject to Council appointment shall be filled by appointment of the City Manager.
(B) The powers and duties of any of the offices enumerated in § 3-1-5 may be performed by a deputy upon authorization of the City Manager.
(C) It shall be lawful for one person to hold more than one office, but such person shall be compensated only for one office to which he or she has been regularly appointed. (Prior Code, § 3-1-8)
