(A) A Person commits an offense under this Chapter if the Person commences or conducts a Special Event or causes a Special Event to be commenced or conducted:

(1) without first having obtained a Special Event Permit from the City Clerk; and/or

(2) in violation of any of the Special Event Conditions and provisions of this Chapter; any rules, regulations, policies and procedures adopted by the City Manager related to the regulation of Special Events; and/or any other applicable federal, state, and/or local laws, ordinances, rules and/or regulations.

(B) A Person commits an offense under this Chapter if the Person violates any provision of this Chapter.

(C) A Person commits an offense under this Chapter if the Person knowingly makes a false statement in connection with an application for a Special Event Permit.

(D) A culpable mental state is not required for the commission of an offense under this Chapter except for the offense referred to in subsection (C) of this section.

(E) Each violation shall constitute a separate offense, and each day or part of a day a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 14-1301, passed 6-23-2014)
